Eden Is Falling And You Are Still Judging Me
47.5 x 61.5 cm / 18.7 x 24.2 in
Pencil and oil stick on paper, 2026
This work examines the quiet severity of rigid minds—those who cling to unyielding standards even as circumstances call for softness. It explores the paradox of individuals who, in moments of shared difficulty, retreat not into empathy but into stricter judgment. When compassion might serve as a bridge, some instead construct walls of perfectionism, holding others—and themselves—to ideals that leave little room for grace. And somewhere within that stillness, the space between expectation and understanding remains—unspoken, unresolved, and quietly felt.
